Really happy to have been part of the first edition of the Game of windsurf at my home spot!
This new format is fun and easy for the audience to follow, but it's also challenging for us because it requires a good variety of old school and new school moves.
On the day of the final, I was in a duel against the two winners from the previous days, and everything was still up for grabs.
The most stressful moment was during the final when Nico attempted the "Air Funnel Burner One Hand 360" that I suggested because if he landed it, I would either win, or we would have to go into a super final.
The most fun moment was when I landed the Skopu because it was a risky trick, but if I landed it, it was going to give me the advantage.
A special thanks to the organizers of the Mondial du Vent and Julien Taboulé who took inspiration from the best skateboarders in the world and adapted this game to Windsurfing.
